GoMuseum Terms of Service

Effective: 2026-10-26
If the language versions differ, the English version prevails.

1. The service

GoMuseum is provided by APPCRAFT008 LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16529564, registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom) ("we"). These terms are an agreement between you and APPCRAFT008 LTD. GoMuseum provides AI-based artwork recognition and narration. This app is not an official guide of any museum. Recognition results and narration are generated by AI, are for reference only and may contain errors.

2. Conduct in the museum

3. Free quota and passes

What is free: browsing, search, the full text narration and the preset Q&A are always free. In addition, a new user gets a certain number of photo recognitions and a free audio preview of 1 artwork (that one can be replayed without limit).

Passes: more recognitions and all audio narration require buying a pass. A pass is a one-time, consumable purchase — not a subscription; it does not renew automatically and nothing is charged automatically. The pass currently offered is the "Paris 7-Day Pass", covering four museums: the Louvre, the Musée d'Orsay, the Musée de l'Orangerie and the Petit Palais.

Refunds: purchases are made through Google Play or the App Store, and refunds follow that store's policies and process (request them in Google Play, or from Apple for App Store purchases). After a successful refund, the corresponding pass entitlement is revoked. Free quota that has already been used is not returned.

4. Intellectual property

Artwork images and information may come from public-domain material (such as Wikidata/Wikimedia Commons) or be generated and edited by AI. If you believe any content infringes your rights, please contact appcraft008@gmail.com and we will handle it promptly.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses caused by relying on AI-generated content, service interruptions or failures of third-party services. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

6. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe. Abusing the service (including getting around quota limits and sending automated bulk requests) may lead to your account being restricted or terminated.
